Lisa Marquis

Lisa Marquis is a shareholder in the law firm of Quilling Selander Lownds Winslett & Moser. Lisa graduated from the University of Texas School of Law, with honors, in 1991, and went to work for Streich Lang in Phoenix, Arizona.  Having been born and raised in Texas, Lisa returned to Dallas in 1994. After starting off her legal career as a tax attorney in 1991, Lisa started practicing family law in 1995. She took her first collaborative training in 2000 and became a Master Credentialed collaborative attorney in 2020. 

Lisa believes in settling family law cases collaboratively whenever possible, as it gives her clients more control over the outcome of their case and reduces the stress and trauma to their family.  However, even in cases that cannot be handled within the collaborative process, Lisa uses her training as a collaborative attorney to minimize the level of conflict between the parties.  Even in those cases that need to be handled through the traditional litigation process, Lisa strives to be part of the solution and not part of the problem.

Lisa Marquis is a founding member of ANP, having been in the original core group when we launched as a BNI chapter.  She has served in the roles of President, Vice-President, Education Coordinator, Speaker coordinator and has been on the membership committee.  Lisa and her husband have resided in Celina, Texas since 1999, where they raised both of their children.  As empty nesters, Lisa and her husband are on a mission to travel as much as possible.
